Oakville Basketball Club is pleased to join with Basketball Canada in providing Steve Nash Program training to our athletes. This quality program provides a structured curriculum to our club coaches. The 2007-08 season was when we first introduced this program to our community. We chose this program because it provides us an opportunity to work with Basketball Ontario and Basketball Canada at implementing a common curriculum. This season we expand the program in our house league to include all of our athletes born between 1997 and 2000. Our coaches will be trained under the National Coaching Certification Program in basketball. Thanks to Basketball Ontario in helping us implement this program.
