The Oakville Basketball Club Inc. is a non-profit, community based, organization dedicated to providing a positive environment for children to participate at varying levels of competition. Incorporated in 2005, to meet the need of a house league for the Town of Oakville, in excess of one thousand children in our community will benefit from our program this season.

One of our goals is to provide these programs at an affordable level for all members of our community; for this we need the help of corporate sponsors. In order to provide a safe, positive environment we have six certified high level coaches on the coaching staff to supplement the parent volunteers. In addition, we have fully trained timekeepers, referees and a certified physical therapist on staff for each game. Proper management of these programs enriches the children’s experience providing them a positive environment to learn the sport and have fun.

We have initiated a team sponsorship program where each team will have their sponsor’s name printed on the team uniforms. Individual team sponsorship is $275; a four team sponsorship is $1,000, additionally we have invested in score clocks and we seek sponsors who can aid in dispersing the cost of these for us through sponsorship. A score clock sponsorship is $1,500. Your corporate logo and business name will hang beneath the score clock for the duration of the 2006-2007 season. Team and score clock sponsorship come with an advertising and promotions expense tax receipt for your business.

For direct donations in excess of $50, we can issue a Charitable donations tax receipt through privilege of our membership with Basketball Ontario, and our member participation in the Learn to Play Basketball program which promotes the development of amateur basketball in Ontario and supports the skill development of athletes, coaches, referees, table officials and other volunteers.
