Benefits of a Sports Team Program

At Oakville Basketball Club, we have something for every athlete. Our programs cater to all ages and skill levels, from kids to adults, casual and competitive players alike. Everyone has a chance to play and learn from coaches with decades of experience and a love of the game. We help all of our students develop their athletic abilities while getting exercise and staying healthy--even in bad weather. Our team leagues operate all year round, and with camps and after-school programs, there’s an option for every schedule.

Enrolling your child in our basketball program provides them something fun to do that helps them keep fit as well as let off excess energy. More importantly, it offers an opportunity for them to make friends with other kids their own age. That social development is essential to their well-being.

The Benefits of Our Sports League Go Beyond Basketball

Learning how to problem-solve, be a team player, and work hard are life skills that are needed both on and off the court. It’s no wonder that kids who play sports achieve higher academic performance and often make better decisions too. Bring your child to our league, and both of you will see a long-term difference.

Contact us for details on which program is right for your child. We coach kids from Oakville, Ontario, and the neighboring communities.

2020 - 3 on 3  Spring & Summer League

The 3 on 3 league is an excellent way for players to use the game as a teacher. Concepts of passing and cutting and getting open are learned as a necessity for success on the court. Players have exponentially more touches of the ball than traditional 5 on 5 basketball and all are more pivotal to the outcome.

It is strongly encouraged that rep players of all clubs use this type of opportunity to continue to improve their game in the Off Season.

This will be our sixth year running this program with our goal to expand this league again this year.

For: Boys & Girls Rep and House League Divisions.

VERY IMPORTANT:  Before proceeding with registration, you are required by Rowan’s Law to review both Ontario’s Concussion Awareness Resources and Oakville Basketball Club Inc.’s Concussion Code of Conduct.  Please click on the buttons below in order to do so.
