NEW SKILL LABS TRAINING 

           Players in this program will receive physical development training as well as high-level basketball-specific skill development. The objective is to build athletic capacity, to add and refine fundamental as well as advanced basketball skills. Through interactive drills, challenges, and exercises athletes are encouraged to work hard in order to achieve their individual goals.

NEW 2020 COMPETITIVE SHOOTING PROGRAM 

In this program, participants will compete in a variety of shooting drills from spot up set shooting to breakdown move shooting to pick and roll shooting and transition shooting! Players will get repetitions of the various types of shots they see in games. Players will work on actual game type scenario shots at game speed in preparation for real game play! Rather than just doing the drills, players will get to compete during the drills in order to add an element of pressure and fun while working on enhancing their shooting skills.

**Intermediate to Advanced Level Program, For Ages 10 and up (exception made for skilled players)**

PASSING LAB

STARTS NOVEMBER 4, 2020!!

 This program will introduce players to a number of different passes they will be required to use in live game situations. The fundamentals of passing both from stationary and moving positions will be emphasized and practiced. Players will learn what type of passes they should be making based on the game situation they are in. The players in this program will gain a base comfort level to understand how to throw effective passes to set their teammates up for success. Each training session will include defense, agility and/or strength and conditioning exercises to help build these athletes.

TRANSITION/DECISION MAKING LAB

STARTS NOVEMBER 4, 2020!!

 This program will help players understand correct decisions to make while moving at high speeds/tempos during game situations. Transition basketball is a fast paced portion of the game where players will practice proper spacing along with how to read and make the most of the advantage created by the offense. Transition defense will also be taught in this program to help players in a disadvantaged situation on the court be able to slow down or stop the attacking players. Each training session will include defense, agility and/or strength and conditioning exercises to help build these athletes.

 BALL HANDLING LAB - Winter Session

This program is geared towards teaching players how to properly move on the court while effectively handling the ball. Players will be introduced to a variety of ball handling techniques as well as gain the basic fundamentals of dribbling while maintaining vision of the floor.  Players will develop the understanding of how and when to navigate tight spaces and areas of the court.  Each training session will include defense, agility and/or strength and conditioning exercises to help build these athletes.

This program is designed to introduce and get players repetitions of shots they will be shooting in game situations. A variety of different shots will be practiced at each session (Spot-up set shots, shooting off the dribble, catch and shoot on the move etc.).  Players will learn the fundamental footwork that they will need to use to shoot efficiently based on the type of shot they are shooting.  Each training session will include defense, agility and/or strength and conditioning exercises to help build these athletes.

COMPETITIVE GAMEPLAY TRAINING 
In this program, players will be introduced to gameplay situations they commonly encountered in order to set them up for in-game success.  Players will be taught proper timing, floor spacing, and when to do different movements without the basketball (i.e. cutting, filling/replacing positions, drifting, lifting).
Players will learn how to move to spots on the court to give effective passing angles and
remain in vision of the player with the ball.   Players will develop an understanding and knowledge of the skills required to compete at the next level of play.  Each training session will include defense, agility and/or strength and conditioning exercises to help build  these athletes.

PICK AND ROLL/POP 

This program is all about  basketball.  Players will be taught how to make correct reads in a pick and roll/pop situation
without the ball as well as with the ball. Players in this program will learn how to properly set, use, and read ball screens from both the ball handler and screener perspective to effectively create an advantage or scoring opportunity for the team.  Players will also be introduced to the defensive principles, concepts, and coverages
for properly guarding pick and roll/pop basketball.  Each training session will include defense, agility and/or strength and conditioning exercises to help build these athletes.
